What these calculators do
These are the calculations an astrologer runs before anything else: the birth chart itself, the moon sign and nakshatra it rests on, the doshas that need checking before a marriage, and the numbers a date of birth reduces to. Each tool here does one of them properly and shows you the working rather than just an answer.
Everything on this page is free and needs no account. The chart-based tools — kundli, matching, nakshatra, rashi and mangal dosha — are computed from real sidereal planetary positions using the Lahiri ayanamsa, the standard used by Indian astrologers and the national calendar. The numerology and Lo Shu tools are plain arithmetic on your date of birth, computed on our own servers.
A calculator can tell you what your chart contains. It cannot tell you what to do about it — which house lord is running its dasha, whether a dosha is cancelled in your specific chart, or how two charts interact beyond a points total. That is what the astrologers on KundliVala are for, and every result here links straight through to one.

- Yes. Every calculator on this page is free to use and none of them require an account. You only pay if you choose to consult an astrologer about your result.
- Which ayanamsa do the chart calculators use?
- Lahiri (Chitrapaksha), the sidereal reference used by the Indian national calendar and by the large majority of Indian astrologers.
- Do I need my exact birth time?
- For the kundli and mangal dosha calculators, yes — house positions depend directly on it. Nakshatra and rashi are more forgiving since the Moon moves slowly. Numerology and the Lo Shu grid need no birth time at all.
- Can I share my result with someone?
- Every result gets a shareable link that reproduces the same calculation when opened, so you can send it to family or to an astrologer.
